Competition amoung international citizens for Governmental Scholarships, covering Master studies
Dear international applicants!
Our University announces a competition for international citizens, stateless persons and compatriots living abroad, willing to get governmental scholarships covering their Master studies at BMSTU in 2016.
What is to be done to participate in the competition?
1. Learn more about the competition from this document;
2. Choose a Master program (See page 38-39, Handbook for International Students)
3. Send the following documents to firstname.lastname@example.org before June 15, 2016 and indicate BMSTU Scholarship in the subject line:
3.1. Fill, print and scan the application form. Use block capital letters and a color photo. If you have any questions in the process of filling it, send your application form in Word format and ask your question by the e-mail: email@example.com;
3.2. Scan of your ID document in pdf;
3.3. Scan of your education certificate and its attachments in pdf (if the latter are stipulated by the legislation in the country of issue) with all courses taken and all marks (points) received. If you haven’t received your education certificate yet, you can submit an academic record from the educational institution of your Bachelor, Specialist or equivalent program, in which you are enrolled at the moment of application. The academic record must include the following information: level of educational program, expected date of completion, final assessment and its form, interim assessment results with all courses taken and all marks received for all completed periods of studies;
3.4. Well grounded motivation letter showing your interest and ability to participate in the selected educational program. It should also cover your professional qualifications and experience, and reasons why you want to pursue your degree in the selected field (optional document);
3.5. Recommendation letter(s), no more than 2 (optional document).
If you successfully pass the selection procedure and your application is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, you will receive a governmental scholarship, including:
· Tuition free study at BMSTU and governmental academic scholarship of 1500 rubles per month for the whole period of studies (regardless of academic progress)
· Special price for accommodation in the BMSTU student residence, about 1000 rubles per month.
Master programs at BMSTU are taught in Russian.
The duration of all Master programs is 2 years.
If you cannot speak Russian or its level is not enough for studies in Russian, please, indicate that you need a language course in the application form. In this case the duration of studies will be 3 years (1 year of Preparatory Department and 2 years of Master program). The Preparatory year will be tuition free as well.
