MIC is interested in additive technology

On February 10, 2015 the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) held a scientific and practical conference "Additive Technology in the Russian Industry".

The conference was held under the authority of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation. It was visited by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, and the Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of the MIC board, the deputy chairman of the board - RAS Academician Yuri Mikhailov.

BMSTU students took an active part in the conference. They gave a number of reports, and in addition, at the BMSTU stand there were demonstrated the developments of the following subdepartments "Computer systems for industrial automation" (RK-9) and "Laser technology in mechanical engineering" (MT-12)- the original 3D-printer created by the winners of the exhibition "Politehnica" (the first place for the best inventive work) - Pavel Shvets and Nikita Lazarev. There was also the work on creating machines for the cultivation of products from powder constructional materials, presented by Roman Tretyakov, the deputy director of the Moscow Center of Laser Technology.
